Berlin Marathon 2016

The Berlin Marathon 2016 took place on September 25 with 41,283 runners in Berlin, the capital of Germany. The race distance was 42.195 km (26.2 miles). The winner of the women’s race was Aberu Kebede (Ethiopia) with a time of 2 hours 20 minutes 45 seconds. The winner of the men’s race was Kenenisa Bekele (Ethiopia) with a time of 2 hours 3 minutes 3 seconds. He is the second fastest marathon runner ever. The fastest marathon time recorded is just 6 seconds less! You can watch the marathon highlights here.
