The Oxford Roald Dahl Dictionary

Oxford University Press published “The Oxford Roald Dahl Dictionary”, and this is no ordinary dictionary. It has words that you might not find in any dictionary in the world. Roald Dahl (1916 to 1990) was a British author who wrote many children’s books. Some of his works are Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and Fantastic Mr Fox. He is known for using his own invented imaginative words in his writings. To mark the 100th anniversary of Dahl’s birth, a dictionary was published with his “scrumdiddlyumptious” words. Here is one of his famous quotes: “If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.”
