President of Tanzania helps clean the streets

John Magufuli, the president of Tanzania, cancelled this year’s Independence Day celebrations in the nation. Instead, he and many other Tanzanians were out cleaning the streets of Dar es Salaam, the largest city of Tanzania. Magufuli, nicknamed “The Bulldozer”, became the president in November. In his one month as the leader, he has already announced a few cuts for the government to reduce its spending. For instance, government officials have been asked to fly economy class.
