The Bio Bus

Not all waste is being wasted. A new bus service started on November 20 in the United Kingdom that uses gas produced from human poop and food waste. It is called the Bio Bus and is a 40-seater. Its route is between the cities of Bristol and Bath. On a full tank of gas, the bus can travel up to 300 km (185 miles). It takes the annual waste of around five people to generate enough gas to fill a tank. The gas generated from the waste can also be used for powering homes. Here are two videos about it.
