The Cat in the Hat hats

726 students, teachers, and parents recently gathered at the Armstrong Elementary School in Texas, USA wearing tall red and white striped hats. They broke the world record for the “most people wearing The Cat in the Hat hats at once”.

The previous record was of 281 hats set last year in New York, USA. The Cat in the Hat is a children’s book written by the American author Dr. Seuss (real name Theodor Geisel) in 1957. Here is a quote from this book “Oh, The Places You’ll Go! You’re off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So… get on your way!”

Here is a video of the Canadian singer Justin Bieber reading The Cat in the Hat.
