Lonely Planet’s extraordinary places to stay

The Lonely Planet, the travel guide book publisher, recently put out its list for the “top 10 extraordinary places to stay” in 2014. The number one spot went to Mihir Garh, a hotel that looks like a sand castle in the desert area of Rajasthan, India. The number 2 spot went to Planet Baobab in Botswana. This hotel is in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans area (salt pans are areas with large deposits of salt and other minerals).
