Enele Sopoaga has become the new prime minister of Tuvalu, an island country located in the Pacific Ocean between Australia and Hawaii, USA. Tuvalu is one of the smallest countries in size and population in the world. The country has no rivers or streams, it relies on rain for the island’s main source of fresh water. The country gained popularity for a while because its Internet domain (.tv) was sought by many TV stations across the world. Over a decade ago, Tuvalu’s government leased its .tv domain to an American company in return for money. The country’s capital has a rather “fun” name – it’s Funafuti!

The government of Montenegro sells its Internet domain (.me) to folks who want a website ending with “.me”. For example, www.fb.me takes you to Facebook’s website.
