Some of the male train drivers operating the Roslagsbanan train line in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, are wearing skirts. The train company has a ban on wearing shorts, and the train-drivers find wearing pants uncomfortable in the warmer summer weather. Hence, they have resorted to wearing skirts. “Skirts” (a popular clothing for the female train drivers) is a clothing that is acceptable by the train company. The train company does not want to treat the men differently from the women, and so the men can wear skirts if they please. The Roslagsbanan train line is about 65 km (40 miles) long with 38 stations. On an average, it takes around 47,000 passengers per weekday.
