The LEGO Group, the Danish toy manufacturer that creates Lego toys, recently built the world’s largest LEGO model. It is a life-size model of a starfighter from the Star Wars movies. The model is built using over five million Lego bricks. The weight of the starfighter is about 21,000 kilograms (46,000 pounds) and is 3.35 meters (11 feet) tall. The model currently is on display in New York, USA, and will later be moved to Legoland Resort in California, USA.

Some folks got together earlier in May and set a Guinness World Record for the “longest plastic toy train track” in Denmark. They used Lego bricks to build this, and the track was 4,000.25 metres (13,124 ft 2 in) long. It took the toy train over four hours to complete the circuit. You can watch a video here.
