Views of very distant galaxies

A photo was released that was taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, a telescope in space. The photograph shows over 5,000 galaxies and is a picture of just a tiny part of our universe. The photo is called the eXtreme Deep Field, or XDF. The image shows some galaxies from about 13.2 billion years ago – that’s just 500 million years after our universe was created.
