US Open

Serena Williams (from the USA) won the women’s singles title and Andy Murray (from the United Kingdom) won the men’s singles title at the 2012 U.S. Open tennis tournament. The tournament was played from August 27 to September 10 in New York, United States.  The U.S. Open is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments (the other three are the French Open, the Australian Open, and Wimbledon). Bob and Mike Bryan (from the USA) won the men’s doubles. Bob and Mike are twin brothers. Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci  (from Italy) won the women’s doubles. The last two times Williams played at the US Open, she lost her temper and was fined for it. She kept her temper in check this year.
