Beijing, the capital of China, experienced very heavy rainfall causing landslides and flooding in the city. This is the heaviest rainfall the city has seen in over 60 years. Many homes, roads, cars, and buses were submerged under water. Over 50,000 people had been moved out of their homes into shelters. Hong Kong, another city in China, was struck by a typhoon called Vicente. The storm brought along heavy rains and strong winds that uprooted trees, caused flooding, and disrupted transportation all over the city.
