Rock, paper, scissors

Scientists at the University of Tokyo, Japan, have invented a robot that plays rock, paper, scissors (also known as scissors, paper, stone), and always wins! Want to know its trick? Well, the robot cheats. It uses a high speed camera to see what the person’s hand is doing, and takes just a thousandth (1/1,000) of a second to make its move. The scientists are calling it “one example of human-machine cooperation systems”. Well, the human seems to be cooperating more since the robot always wins :-) . Here is a video.
